Favourite Colour: Black is Chris Turner, a Director who’s a bright spark with a dark moniker and edge to his work.

He will also pick up a stills camera on set to great effect, capturing superb B&W imagery of the talent he works with.

Widely known for his preference for, and comprehensive knowledge of, in-camera technical feats, Chris’ Commercials and Music Video work has included the “The Evolution of Stunts” for Honda, where Stuntman Damien Walters was lit on fire, and the one-shot feat for Alice Chater’s “Hourglass” video. His other Commercial clients include Jaguar, Adidas, Sony, AMC and Sprint, and he’s worked with a diverse range of musical artists such as Birdy, Hurts, Jay-Z, Jax Jones, The Vamps and Gazelle Twin.

His latest horror short “Leopard Heels” is currently on the festival circuit, having been officially selected by multiple international festivals including Screamfest 2022, and winning the Audience Award at NYC’s 2022 Halloween Film Festival. Chris’ other films have been shown at Raindance, London Short Film Festival, Berlin Fashion Film Festival, OneDotZero, ASVOFF Paris, BFI Gothic Season, San Francisco Dance Film Festival, 1.4 and Channel 4’s Random Acts.
