Spencer Creigh

Spencer’s work consistently pushes conventions, exploring poignant stories from unique and thoughtful perspectives.

Spencer Creigh grew up in the secluded mountains and bays of Catalina Island. He has directed campaigns for Merck, the YMCA, Johnson & Johnson, GSK, X-Prize, Olympus, Citibank, and many others. Spencer has a keen sensitivity towards, and ability to elicit, authentic performances.
His work consistently pushes conventions, exploring poignant stories from unique and thoughtful perspectives. He loves a good debate, and enjoys petting every cat and dog that crosses his path.

He has won a Cannes Silver Lion for Direction, a silver Clio Award for Best Direction, and an additional 5 Clios, 3 Cannes Lions, Gold at Ciclope 2019, among others. His first narrative short, Sheephead, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Shot in his hometown of Catalina Island, the film follows a beach-town fixture grappling with his own existence when faced with some unsettling news. His second and most recent short film, Pinion, will have its premiere in competition at the 40th Warsaw Film Festival.
