Brothers Brendan and Emmett are The Malloys. From their early start documenting professional surfers, this self-taught directorial team always brings a creative spin to the worlds of TV, music video, and film.
Recognized globally for their work with clients such as Google, Apple, Samsung, ESPN, EA Sports, Under Armour and countless others, they’ve been nominated for various prestigious awards. This includes a DGA award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials for Nike’s “The Huddle” featuring LeBron James, Grammy-nominated for their feature documentary UNDER GREAT WHITE NORTHERN LIGHTS on The White Stripes, and nominated for Director of the Year on two separate occasions at the MVPA Awards.
Always staying true to the team’s documentary roots, their films include a moving tribute to the legacy of sports legend, John Madden in “Thanks Coach” and the Netflix feature, “Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell,” which celebrates the life of acclaimed hip-hop musician, Notorious B.I.G.
The Malloys’ recent commercial work includes “Playoffs On NBA Lane” and “NBA Lane Finals,” two star-studded films that bring enthusiastic stars, passionate fans, and legendary players together in celebration of the league’s 75th anniversary season.
