Paul was born and raised in Los Angeles and has a passionate obsession for moving pictures. His background has ranged from director of photography, visual effects artist, and editor. His talent for capturing authenticity or the magically surreal is beautifully combined with his ability to capture emotive stories.
A six-time AICP honoree, Paul’s work has taken him around the globe. He has created memorable films for such brands as Nike, Coors, Budweiser, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Bose, Jeep, Toyota, Chevrolet, Canada Post, Coors Light, Home Depot, Microsoft, Bosch, Philips, Ford, and Canon to name a few.
His directorial debut for the American Cancer Society entitled “Odds” was recognized at SHOOT’s New Directors Showcase and the AICP Show, and is currently part of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The campaign was praised by NPR as one of the most effective smoking-deterrent ads ever made.
